Reading about Feline Diabetes and praying Smokey is going to be okay.
But the more I read about it, the more my heart sinks.
He goes for blood work tomorrow morning.
-worries to no end-
I came across your post skimming through the feline diabetes tag, and I just wanted to tell you it’s not as bad as it seems!
I sure hope he doesn’t have it, but if he does, and your patient, it can be managed.
My cat was diagnosed with feline diabetes and pancreatitis a few months back. She has to eat special food, and have insuline twice a day, but it’s pretty amazing the change in her health. It’s hard to stay on schedule, but once you get into the swing of things, it’s really not that bad. :)
